How much does it cost to rent an exotic car in Miami? 2026 price guide

On this page

Most popular exotic and luxury cars in Miami rent for about $700 to $1,400 a day before fees and tax in November 2026. Supercars start near $1,000 and run past $2,000, and the newest halo cars cost $2,300 to $4,000. On our own listings, base rates run from $249 a day for a Mercedes C 300 to $1,499 for a Ferrari F8 Tributo or McLaren 720S. The advertised price is rarely the price you pay: cleaning, tax, delivery, extra miles and fuel come on top.

How we got these numbers

We read the public price pages of more than 20 Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach operators on November 6, 2026, across 14 popular cars. Nobody was contacted, and nothing was booked. The rules we used:

  • One price per operator per model. If an operator lists three white Urus units, we take its lowest comparable one-day price.
  • True one-day prices only. A price counts when the page states it for one day, or states a plain per-day rate with no minimum. Weekly totals divided by seven, five-day “starting at” prices, two-day minimums and peer-to-peer three-day averages are left out of the table.
  • Same model and trim. A plain Urus or Urus S is not a Performante, a coupe is not a Spider unless the row says so, and an older model year is left out when the page shows the year.
  • Only prices we could confirm on a live page. Prices found only in old search snippets, members-only rates and listings that would not load are left out.

The pricing methodology has the full rules and the correction log.

Why the advertised price is rarely the price

The same Lamborghini Urus can be advertised at $795, $950 and $1,175 on the same operator’s website. The difference is what the number means.

  • “Starting at” can be a five-day price. One large operator’s listing card shows an Urus S at $795 a day. Open the car and the one-day price is $950. Its Urus Performante card shows $974 and the one-day price is $1,175.
  • Two-day minimums. One operator shows a Urus at $699 with a two-day minimum and asks you to call for a one-day price.
  • “From” prices can be half the real day rate. One marketplace-style site shows a G63 “from” $449, and $899 for a single day.
  • Peer-to-peer is a different product. Turo prices are three-day averages from private owners, mostly 2019 to 2022 cars, with trip fees, tax and protection added later.

None of this is dishonest on its own. It does mean you cannot compare headline numbers. Ask every operator for the price of your exact dates, your exact car and the total with everything added.

What is usually not in the price

Most operators advertise the base rate. These come on top, roughly in order of size:

  • Sales tax. Florida taxes the whole rental amount: 6% state sales tax plus any county surtax, which makes 7% in Miami-Dade. Operators usually add it on the rental agreement, not in the headline price.
  • The Florida rental surcharge. $2 per rental day, collected by the rental company, for the first 30 days.
  • Cleaning and premium-vehicle fees. On our listings, cleaning is $95 flat per rental. Some other operators add a separate premium-vehicle fee or fold these into the rate, so compare the total, not the base price.
  • Delivery and pickup. Free at some operators, $100 each way at others, $150 to $250 on ours, depending on the car.
  • Extra miles. The usual allowance is 100 to 125 miles a day. Beyond it, operators charge $3 to $20 a mile. A round trip to Key West is about 320 miles, so it matters.
  • Fuel. Exotics take premium. Return the car at the level you got it, or pay the operator’s refueling price.
  • Tolls. Miami’s expressways use electronic tolling. Ask how the operator bills it.
  • Young-driver fees and insurance. Most exotic rentals need a driver 25 or older and your own full-coverage insurance. Where an operator sells coverage, ask what it covers. We do not sell or recommend insurance products.

Two worked examples

These use the fee structure on our own listings and the base rates in the table above: a flat $95 cleaning fee and the $2-a-day Florida surcharge. The deposit is separate and refundable, so it is never part of the total. These are examples, not quotes: availability and rates depend on your dates.

One day in a Lamborghini Urus Performante

Line Amount
Rental, 1 day at $1,199 $1,199
Cleaning $95
Florida rental surcharge, 1 day $2
Total shown on the listing $1,296
Delivery and pickup, if you want it $150
Refundable security deposit, charged separately $7,500

Three days in a Mercedes-AMG G63

Line Amount
Rental, 3 days at $500 $1,500
Cleaning $95
Florida rental surcharge, 3 days $6
Total shown on the listing $1,601
Refundable security deposit, charged separately $5,000

Then add what the listing total does not hold. Florida sales tax is applied by the rental company to the rental, so confirm whether it is inside your quote. At 7%, the Urus Performante day would carry about $84 of tax. Fuel, tolls and any miles beyond the allowance are billed after the rental.

A seven-day booking gets a weekly rate on many cars, so the per-day cost falls. Ask for the weekly total rather than multiplying a day rate by seven.

Deposits and mileage

The deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge, and it is released after the rental under the operator’s terms. It is the number that catches people out, because it scales with the car and varies a lot between operators.

Published ranges we found: $500 to $2,000 at one operator, $1,000 to $2,000 at another, $2,000 to $4,000 at a third, and $1,000 to $7,000 at a fourth that prices by vehicle. On our listings, the deposit is set by the price of the car: $2,500 on a Mercedes C 300 or an Escalade, $5,000 on a G 63 or an Urus S, $7,500 on a Cullinan, an Urus Performante or a Ferrari F8 Tributo, with the operator confirming the final amount. Ask when the hold is released and how long your bank takes to show it.

Mileage works the same way. A 100-mile day is a trip to Fort Lauderdale and back with little to spare. If you plan Palm Beach or the Keys, ask for a higher allowance up front, because the per-mile rate on a $1,500-a-day car can be steep.

When prices move

Miami’s high season runs from December through April. Rates rise with demand, and the sharpest jump is around Art Basel in early December, when one operator’s guide reports premiums of 40% to 80% and two to three day minimums. September is the quietest month, according to one operator’s own demand index. Both figures are operator claims, not independent data, so treat them as direction rather than precision.

The practical advice is simple. Weekday starts are cheaper than Friday pickups, longer rentals cost less per day, and the popular colors on the popular models go first. For a peak weekend, book as early as you can. For that week, see the Art Basel Miami Beach rental guide.

How to compare quotes

Ask each operator for the same eight things, in writing, for the same dates and the same car:

  1. The base price for your exact dates.
  2. Every mandatory fee: cleaning, premium-vehicle, delivery.
  3. Sales tax and the Florida surcharge, shown as lines.
  4. The deposit amount, and the day it is released.
  5. Miles included per day and the price of each extra mile.
  6. Insurance: what the operator requires, and what you need to show.
  7. The cancellation and change terms.
  8. Where and when you pick the car up, and what happens if you are late.

If a quote leaves out any of these, the number is not comparable. Our listings show the base price and the mandatory fees as an itemized total before you send a request, with the deposit on its own line. We are an independent booking agent. The operator is the rental company and you pay the operator.

Questions

Is insurance included in the price?

Usually not. Most exotic rental companies in Miami require you to carry your own full-coverage insurance and show proof at pickup. Some sell their own coverage for an extra fee. Ask what it covers and what the deductible is. We do not sell or recommend insurance products.

Is there an age limit?

Most operators require a driver who is 25 or older with a valid license. A few accept 21 and up on some cars, with a higher deposit or a fee. The requirement for each car is on its listing.

Do prices drop for weekly rentals?

Yes, on many cars. Weekly rates we found run roughly 15% to 20% below the one-day rate per day. Ask for the weekly total for your exact car, because not every car has a weekly rate.

Can I pay the deposit with a debit card?

It depends on the operator. Many require a credit card for the security hold, and some accept debit with extra checks. Confirm this before you book, along with when the hold is released.

What is the cheapest exotic car to rent in Miami?

On the market prices we read in November 2026, the Mercedes-AMG G63 has the lowest median at about $725 a day, and the Bentley Bentayga follows at about $800. On our own listings, the G 63 starts at $500 a day and the Bentayga at $699, with the Mercedes C 300 at $249 for anyone who does not need an exotic. The cheapest listing is not always the best deal once fees and mileage are added.
